Collection: Open-Plan Rugs

Use rugs to define living and dining zones within an open-plan home. Measure each furniture grouping and compare sizes to create a cohesive layout.

Find your size — a quick room guide

Living room

Start with the seating area. Let the front legs of your sofa and chairs rest on the rug to bring the space together.

Bedroom

Choose a rug that extends beyond the sides and foot of the bed, giving you a soft landing where you step out.

Dining room

Allow room for chairs to stay on the rug when pulled back. Measure the table with the chairs in use.

Before you choose: mark the footprint on your floor with tape. Check furniture, door clearance and the exact dimensions of your selected size. Illustrations show placement, not scale.
